Do you wonder how new menu items make it onto a menu? Well, I’m the chef behind the recipe. I provide research and development services for restaurants and manufacturers. As a Recipe Developer, I create recipes to make menus shine. While, Mexican and Latin food are my specialties, I create menu items of all cuisines.
As a consultant, I wear several hats. Food styling is another service I offer for digital ads, commercials, websites and live TV.

From trade shows to retail, I help companies deliver their message with live cooking demonstrations.
What I’m most passionate about is teaching kids how to cook and their ancestral history. My cookbook The Whole Enchilada teaches classic Mexican dishes along with Mexican and Chicano history that celebrates our ancestors. My book combines my education in Chicano / Latino studies and my professional cooking career.
